Lucas Foreman

My Football Journey My name is Lucas Foreman, and football has always been my biggest passion. Ever since I first kicked a ball, I’ve been determined to improve every day and push myself to reach the highest level. I understand that success in football comes from hard work, resilience, and a willingness to keep learning. I am 5’10”, right-footed, and primarily play as a left winger, although I’m equally comfortable playing as a right winger, striker, or attacking midfielder (CAM). My game is built around pace, direct attacking play, creativity, and confidence in one-on-one situations. I enjoy creating chances, scoring goals, and making an impact in every match I play. One of my proudest achievements was representing the Essex County Squad. During my time with Essex, I helped the team win a trophy and later competed in the National Finals against some of the best young players in the country. Although we didn’t win the tournament, I received very positive feedback on my performances, which gave me even more confidence and motivation to continue improving. I also had the opportunity to spend 10 weeks with West Ham United’s academy, where I trained and competed in a professional environment. During my time there, I held my own against top players and received very positive feedback from the coaches on my performances. The experience showed me the standards required at academy level and strengthened my belief that I can compete in that environment. Following that, I had a spell at Colchester United, where I played two matches and scored three goals. It was another valuable experience that helped me continue developing as both a player and a person. Like many young footballers, my journey hasn’t been straightforward. I’ve experienced setbacks, including being released from an academy, but those moments have only made me more determined to work harder and keep chasing my dream. Last season was one of my strongest, finishing with 28 goals and 35 assists. Every challenge and every opportunity has helped shape me into the player I am today. My ambition is to earn another opportunity at a professional academy and build a career in professional football. I know there will be obstacles along the way, but I am committed to improving every day, working hard, and giving everything I have to achieve my goals.
